What primary services do you offer?

As a registered social worker, I offer individual counselling from a foundation of empathy, care and relationship. 

What are your approaches to counselling?

I have certifications in Narrative Therapy, as well as Observed and Experiential Integration (OEI).
I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as Person-Centered therapy. 

What are the rates of your services?

Initial consultations are free; they are 30 min introductions and are meant to get a feel for the counselling relationship. 

Counselling sessions are $160/hour. 

Extended health benefits regularly cover mental health support (check with your provider for details of your coverage – I do not bill providers directly). 
There are also available funds to support the mental health and healing of Indigenous community members. 

What type of client do you work with?

I work with people managing a wide variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, symptoms of trauma, low self-esteem, burn out, and identity/self-esteem issues, for example. 
I am particularly interested in supporting members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community as well as those who identify as Indigenous.

What are your qualifications?

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Masters of Social Work (MSW) .
When submitting a receipt to your benefits, you may need my registration number (09626).

How do I book a session?

Ongoing clients can book sessions via the “book a session” button at the top of the home page – this will take you to the Jane booking platform. 

Do you offer online/telephone sessions?

At the moment, all sessions are offered over the phone or video call. 

Do you do couple’s and/or family counselling?

No. Currently, I only do one-on-one counselling with youth and adults.
